During the 2010 oil spill off the US Gulf Coast, we were approached to create an app that would allow real-time tracking and reporting of the devestation being caused.
We were tasked to create a brand identification ranging from logos, slogans, and digital media. We were also asked to create a way to gather user-generated information in the form of photos, videos, and written reports and have this information accessible to the public. Hearing this, we created a website and an app so that anyone, from anywhere, could provide their support and help in any way they could.
Overall, the site and app were a huge success and became a crucial part towards providing key information towards the cleaning efforts.
